Lemon colored bells.
Flowers are more than 4 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height.
The flowers have a subtle fresh aroma with notes of lemon and spice.
The leaves are oval, palm-sized.
All parts of the plant: flowers, buds, stems, leaves are noticeably pubescent.
Sinningia Conspicua is a perennial tuberous plant with a pronounced dormant period. At the end of the growing season, the aboveground part of the plant stops developing, and signs of drying out appear on the leaves. During the dormant period, Sinningia Conspicua should be kept in a cooler place and watering should be reduced. Stems with drying leaves can be cut off.
At the beginning of February, the pot with Sinningia should be placed in a well-lit place so that the young shoots do not stretch out.
During the growing season, especially during the development of buds and flowering, Sinningia Conspicua is very demanding on watering. Sinningia Conspicua blooms from early summer to autumn.
The key to abundant and long flowering of Sinningia Conspicua is natural lighting. The delicate leaves of Sinningia Conspicua should be avoided from direct midday sunlight.
The substrate for Sinningia Conspicua must be well aerated and sufficiently nutritious at the same time. During the active growing season, the plant needs feeding.
